What is the difference between a one-off WhatsApp message and a sequence?
The one-off message sends exactly one template after documented opt-in. A sequence adds multiple delayed WhatsApp and email steps with their own triggers, such as a reminder when a follow-up becomes due.
Do I need a new opt-in for every email?
No. Email sequence steps use the same legal basis as the automatic confirmation email already sent to each new lead. No additional form field is required.
What is WhatsApp’s 24-hour reply window?
Meta allows free-form replies only within 24 hours of the customer’s latest incoming message. Outside that window, only an approved template can be sent. Swiftfunnel always shows whether the window is open.
Do I have to submit WhatsApp templates to Meta myself?
Yes. This is a Meta requirement independent of Swiftfunnel. Once approved, parameter-free templates can be selected in a sequence step. Free-form replies within the 24-hour window do not require a template.
How many sequence steps can I create?
Up to ten WhatsApp steps and ten additional email steps per funnel, each with its own trigger and delay.
Which plan includes messaging automation?
